Daytona (FLORIDA, STATI UNITI)- Ryan Villopoto ha messo a segno un’altra vittoria nel Supercross, in sella alla Kawasaki, portandosi a 196 punti in classifica e aumentando ulteriormente il suo vantaggio, sino a 23 punti, sull’inseguitore James Stewart, che è fermo a 173 punti con la Yamaha.

La vittoria di Villopoto è arrivata con un colpo di fortuna per lui e una giornata nera per Stewart, che è partito al comando ed era in testa, quando è scivolato al quarto giro ed è caduto in malo modo, con la moto che è volata via sino al salto successivo. James è, comunque, riuscito a ripartire e ha concluso nono. Villopoto ha vinto, seguito da Chad Reed e Ryan Dungey. Più indietro sono arrivati Short e Millsaps. Roczen ha tegliato il traguardo in ottava posizione.

Nella Classe Lites è partito in testa e ha vinto la gara Blake Bagget Blake. Barcia ha fatto secondo e Sipek terzo. Comanda la classifica Justin Barcia, con 69 punti.
